Bringing together family, friends, and award-winning, Kentucky-crafted wine.

Brooks Hill Winery opened in 2007 in northern Bullitt County, just 15 miles south of downtown Louisville. Ever since, we’ve been serving a unique selection of flavorful wines inspired by our Kentucky roots.

We invite you to stop by and unwind in our comfortable tasting room or on the spacious patio overlooking the vineyard. If you’d like to pair your visit with live music, check out our 2024 concert and event schedule.

A note from the new owners

Mike and Karen Hatzell opened the winery in 2007 and have spent the last 17 years creating, refining, and loving this "little winery up the hill". We purchased the winery in January 2024 with the intention of preserving and building on the legacy Mike and Karen began.

We hope to exceed your expectations and continue Brooks Hill Winery's tradition of bringing together family, friends, and great Kentucky crafted wines. We look forward to seeing you soon! ​
